5.0 out of 5 stars gets the pulse racing page by page, 17 Jun 2001
David Morrell completes a trilogy of works with this book, tying the first two books,Brotherhood ofthe Rose and Fraternity of the Stone, in this book. Here the characters from the first two books race head long into a collision of long dead feuds and simmering hatreds, resentments and delayed vengence. When they finally meet the resulting explosion of action will leave you breathless and speechless. An excellent end to two previously excellent books.

4.0 out of 5 stars A gripping thriller, 17 Nov 2006

Featuring a lot of Morrells other literary creations, including those featured in The Brotherhood of the Rose and The Fraternity of the Stone involved in trying to discover who is tracking and killing former nazis and their families.

As always character and plot development is fantastic, pace is just perfect and the plot is very convincing. If you like stories about shadowy agencies, spies, assasins and intrigue then this is the book for you.
