Product Description

Product Description

Andie dreams of becoming an artist. Her best paintings are inspired by the moon and so she's fascinated by news of the first moon landing. But will it be the same magical place once man has set foot on it, and will her paintings win the attention they deserve? Set in 1969 against the vivid backdrop of one of the most thrilling moments in modern history, this is the second irresistible "Historical House" title from award-winning author, Linda Newbery.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of a great series, 31 Jul 2008

I really enjoyed this book and indeed the whole series. Andie's Moon feels like a real window into life in the 1960s. The writing is accessible and compelling. Even though the story line is very simple, it draws the reader in and you care about what happens to Andie. Great for 9-12s.
