Product Description

Product Description
This is a chilling mystery reaching from the present into the plague-ridden past. A school trip turns into a nightmare when Kim and Wes leave the plague-village of Eyam with more than they bargained for, and a stolen artifact wreaks revenge. Historical facts blend with ghosts and ancient curses in the latest offering from acclaimed thriller-writer Malcolm Rose.

He has won the Angus Book Award twice: in 1997 for Tunnel Vision and in 2001 for Plague, which also won the Lancashire Children's Book of the Year award. His last book Transplant was shortlisted for the North East Book Award

4.0 out of 5 stars English teacher's feedback, 7 Feb 2009
I decided to read this book as many of my year 7 pupils were interested in it and I wanted to be able to give them an honest opinion. I found it really interesting. It would be great for boys or girls but has a gruesome almost horror element which would appeal to the boys I teach. The novel has a great twist at the end...I won't give anything away but it certainly adds to the entertainment value. Buy it!
