Product Description

Product Description

Alex Rider meets Nancy Drew in a futuristic spy thriller full of adventure and suspense. Jazmin Dawson's alter ego, Jaz, is a gorgeous super-spy, and she doesn't have a serious snack habit, unlike Jazmin herself. In real life, the closest Jazmin gets to dangerous missions is waving goodbye to her mum, who works for secret intelligence. But when her mum goes missing on assignment Jazmin gets a chance to live out her dreams. She jumps straight on the plane to Prague where she finds herself at the heart of an international mystery. Mad scientists, weird religious cults and a demonic being that threatens to terrorize the earth are all in a day's work for would-be detective Jazmin Dawson.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spy Girl's first adventure, 17 Jan 2006
By A Customer
A gripping story of a teenage girl who is not slim and not very tall, but who is gutsy enough to go on a dangerous adventure to rescue her secret agent mother. At the same time she saves her stuck-up girl cousin from a horrible death. Authentic girl-talk and attitudes make for a great start to the book. Gradually a cult is revealed and darker themes emerge. Supernatural topics are very deftly handled. The routing of the evil being at the end is a breathtaking shaft of light into the story. Older readers will enjoy this book, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprising!, 25 Mar 2007
By Galaxy "*G*" (Saturn, NP BLK) - See all my reviews
Wow! This book has a cheesey cover, a cheesey title, and if you look on the back cover, the summary is-guess what- cheesey! But when someone picks up this book and starts reading, suddenly the story becomes completey believeable. A mix of Frankenstein, the movie Agent Cody Banks, Alex Rider, Alias, and Cherub: the best parts of them all! A really thrilling page-turner.

3.0 out of 5 stars This book was good to start with but got worse, 18 Oct 2006
I read this book until about 1/2 way through - after that, it wasn't very good. I liked the colours on the cover - they attracted me to the book!

This book is about a girl whose parents are spies and she wants to be a spy as well. It's quite good in places.
