Malcolm Rose began his career as a research scientist. He is now a full-time writer best known for his gripping scientific thrillers. He has won the Angus Book Award for Tunnel Vision, the Lancashire Children's Book of the Year for Plague and his last book, Transplant, was shortlisted for the North East Book Award.
