This book has proved so popular with our members, we have now made it the primary course textbook for our new correspondence course for Church Composers. Andrew Wilson-Dickson offers a new approach to the way in which this field is viewed, with much valuable background and lateral references. Where so little is known about much early material, he has brought together the threads which are known and commented successfully on the more modern trends. A superb reference book and well-written.
