I found this book lying around the house and I loved it. It helps you appreciate what you have. These pioneers had so little yet learned to enjoy the simple things. Although meant to be a story, this book contains a simple home-spun wisdom that we can all benefit from. Some passages are worth underlining. If you think you have troubles, read this, and you'll find yourself learning to depend on the God who guided these simple pioneers when there was no one else. Oh yes, it's a heart-warming romance too, and I like romance.

This whole series is wonderful. It has the right amount of romance and adventure and each book touches your heart. You grow with the family and their trials and tribulations and you become apart of Clark and Marty's life. A must read!

This is one of the most wonderful series of books that I have ever read. It is something that we all can relate to. It seems as if you are right there with your characters. Once you pick it up you can put it down. Everyone can learn a lot from these books.
