Amazon.co.uk Review
The evergreen Maisy comes to life in a truly lovely lift-the-flap book filled with Christmas cheer in Happy Christmas Maisy. As Maisy gets ready for Christmas, curious little hands get to help her do her shopping, wrap her cards and put up her lovely decorations. With an abundance of flaps to lift and pull, and lots of seasonal sparkle, this is one Christmas book that no toddler should be without. (Ages 0 to 3) --Susan Harrison

The Good Book Guide
A must for pre-school children that older siblings will want to share. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Happy Christmas!!!, 7 Oct 2003
This boxed set features a small hardback "pop-up" book and a good quality Maisy doll dressed in green trousers and a yellow top with a red heart (the same outfit that Maisy wears in the book). My two year old daughter clutched the toy as we read the dinky little book where Maisy bakes pies, buys presents for her friends then wraps them, decorates her Christmas tree and hangs up her Christmas stocking. There are lots of tiny flaps to lift on each of the pages, revealing sparkly surprises for the reader. Of course all Maisy's friends turn up for Christmas at the end - and Tallulah has a rather cheeky pair of knickers on! There is also a little Robin on each of the pages and sometimes my daughter has to look quite hard to find him! The Maisy toy never leaves my daughter's side and, I think, makes the stories more real for her.

5.0 out of 5 stars A positive review about another wonderful Maisy book., 16 Nov 2000
By A Customer
Another amazing and magical book by Lucy Cousins. This 'Happy Christmas Maisy' book is a must for any Maisy fan, may they be young or old. Also it's a great introduction to Maisy. It is much sparklier than usual adding to it's delights. Each page holds a new surprise - What will Maisy buy her friends for Christmas? What is she baking? But you must remember to look out for the Robin, he's somewhere on each page. I can't wait for Christmas morning when the chilren (14 months and 3 years) get their hands on it, forget the bikes and everything else. Fantastic, brilliant, amazing, magical, a MUST HAVE!! Enjoy!

This review is from: Happy Christmas Maisy (Hardcover)
This book is excelent, my little boy absolutely loves it and its become his favorit book. The tree decoration is a firm favorit as well, we have an hourly ritual now where he runs up to the tree, points at Maisy, squeals and says mine!.

I got this for my (then) 16 month old daughter. To say she adores it is an understatement! It is a small book so she has no problem holding it and we have spent many many hours... Read more
