About the Author

Vivian French is a professional storyteller as well as an acclaimed children's author. Her many picture books include "Please, Princess Primrose", "A Song for Little Toad" (shortlisted for the Smarties Book Prize) and "To Mum, With Love" (shortlisted for the Children's Book Award). She is also the author of the Read and Wonder non-fiction books "Caterpillar Butterfly" (shortlisted for the Kurt Maschler Award) and "Growing Frogs". Vivian lives in Edinburgh. Liz Million studied for a BA in Illustration at Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. She has illustrated several versions of fairy tale classics including "Little Red Riding Hood" and "The Three Little Pigs", as well as writing two books herself. Liz lives in Darlington with her sister.
