I borrowed this book from my local library, and it became an instant hit with my then 2 year old son. So big a hit, in fact, that I had to extend the loan period while we waited for the hastily placed order to arrive. Almost a year later, and it is still my son's joint favourite story, ranked by him alongside the Gruffalo. A classic; well worth the price.

This book was my little brothers favourite when he was a toddler, now I have children I decided to buy it for them, and they love it too, really nice story, and great big pictures. Lovely book.

I have been made to read this book every night for the last month, my 2 year old daughter absolutley loves it. Even after reading it so many times she still manages to find new and interesting things within the illustrations all the time. Now I just have to find some more books that step up to the mark.
