This book, suitable for all platforms, is very good. The book begins by re-explaining the basics of the game such as driving, shooting, fighting, reward points, badges and the 24/7 facilities. This is useful as they are not covered extensively in the game manual. Then an evauluation of the main players, and statistics on all the weapons follows. Subsequent to this is 125 pages of pure strategy guide. Once you've got through this there is 23 pages devoted to the bonus upgrades and strategies on how to get them. Still not letting up, the book goes into 2 pages of detail on 'Bonus Cruisin'. There is also a selection of cheats at the end (for each of the platforms, so there's no need to feel left out). The book covers all the possible endings, and gives you a nice big pull-out diagram to illustrate where they are and how to get to them. On the reverse side of this pull-out there are three maps of the "Streets of LA". The first one indicating the locations of the 30 "Dogg Bones" (hidden so well I didn't know they existed until I bought the Guide). The second map indicates where the pharmacies are for reviving your health meter, the garages to find your unlocked bonus cars, and the repair garages, obviously to repair your car. The Third map shows the locations of all the 24/7 locations which are vital to making your task easier and completing the game to 100%. This guide is excellent, I'd recommend this to anyone, If you've read the "Vice City" walkthrough or the "Manhunt" walkthrough your in for a treat as these are all by the same author, Tim Bogenn. Using the "Vice City" guide or the "Manhunt" guide as a comparison, in my opinion this, book is just as good as either, and Tim Bogenn must again be praised by all of us who struggle with these games.
