Set in the "Old World", a fantasy version of medieval Europe, Blood Money focuses on the career exploits of Brunner the bounty hunter.
He is one of the most infamous, efficient men of his trade, pursuing his contracts methodically and ruthlessly. He doesn't give pardon, nor does he expect any. Armed men (or mutants, or beastmen) have a high chance of getting "removed" if standing in Brunner's way. His goal is the payout, nothing more and nothing less.
The book contains gratuitous detailed and graphic descriptions of violence and plenty of melee action (after the regular initial pistol shot, of course).
An entertaining read, especially for Warhammer enthusiasts and roleplayers, unless one is repelled by the above mentioned graphic violence.
I warmly recommend the other Warhammer books by C. L. Werner, one of the best writers of the ongoing series.
