5.0 out of 5 stars Good collection but of previously published works, 12 Sep 2002
By John S. Stout "John Stout" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
If you are looking to complete your collection of Lois McMaster Bujold's Vokosigan novels then you will probably have every word of this book. Basically it's Borders of Infinity, Brothers at Arms and Mirror Dance all in one.

There are extremely good novels, but to parcel them up as one 'new' book, even if it has been personally 'chosen by the author' is very misleading. On the back of the book it says 'Publisher's Note: Miles Errant has been previously published in parts as "Borders of Infinity," Brothers in Arms and Mirror Dance. This is the first chronologically combined edition, as chosen by the author.'

Well, I think it's great value if you are a first time reader but to anyone with those books, and most people will have them who are fans, it's a waste of money. Whether I will get my money back I don't know but I'm going to try!

5.0 out of 5 stars Buyer beware!, 11 Sep 2002
By A Customer
This is actually a repackaging of three previously published books: _Borders of Infinity_, _Brothers in Arms_ and _Mirror Dance_. As far as I can tell there is no new material in it. The three books are excellent space opera and the plot about the relationship between Miles and his brother is certainly worth reading. But it's not a new book with newly written material.
