The Star Trek: Deep Space 9 2001 Calendar follows the design set out for other years, that is, pictures of the main cast for the pages displaying months, and a double-page spread of art specially created for the calendar. The month pages are based on the designs of Cardassian and Starfleet computer monitors, with images of the cast. While most of these images have been seen many times before, either on screen or in official publications, they are nonetheless pleasant to display on the walls. The double-page spread of art in the centre of the calendar is exquisite - it displays the Defiant in the foreground, leaving DS9 in the background. Any fan will almost certainly want to keep this image even when the year is out. In short, this is a must for any dedicated fan of Star Trek, and especially for Deep Space Nine fans.
