5.0 out of 5 stars A must for any Eastenders or AYBS? fans!, 16 Nov 2000

I could not put Wendy's autobiography down - it made me laugh and cry, she has had an amazing life and through her 40 years made so many people happy. You really do get a behind the scenes look at Are You Being Served? and Eastenders & really get to know about the woman behind the characters Pauline Fowler and Shirley Brahms (she even has a dog called Shirley Brahms II! - EXCELLENT!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting!, 13 Nov 2000
I thought it was very interesting to read. The style is very pleasant, as if someone is in the room with you telling you the stories. There are plenty of anekdotes and loads of trivia. If you ever wondered why Pauline Fowler can still walk around and smile, you will have a hard time understanding why Wendy Richard still can! It just goes to show that life is far less realistic than EastEnders.
