One of the most important alien abduction books in years, 16 Jul 2004
With 'Sight Unseen', Budd Hopkins has stuck his neck out even further than in his earlier highly controverisal books 'Intruders', 'Missing Time' and 'Witnessed'. Along with his wife, Carol Rainey, Hopkins has constructed what could well transpire to be one of the most significant books of it's kind yet published.Naturally the sceptics will have a field day or an embolism trying to come to terms with what the authors suggest throughout the book, but, once the hurdle represented by suspension of disbelief is overcome, the casual reader, or UFO / alien abduction investigator, is garuanteed an extremely thought - provoking, highly logical argument in favour of the relaity of these phenomena and fascinating comparrisons with emergent themes in conventional science for which many factors reported by abductees have acted as solid indicators. This book is a must have for the casual observer and serious researcher alike.

This book, as do his others, give professional analysis of the facts. There is no sloppiness, avoidance of hard truths or flights of ideas either. I have been fortunate enough to meet Mr. Hopkins when he was in the UK. I was even more impressed by his gentle humility and clarity of thought, also his genuineness and firm insistance on using science and reason above exagerated claims or beliefs about what is really going on. Having said that, this must be the most important book and documented case yet in UFO phenomenon, and a must read for everyone, since it makes us question everything we were ever taught to believe in if you read this book and then think about it. My only complaint is that there are too few books from Mr. Hopkins.
