Product Description

Product Description

Groundbreaking and universal, Stephen Covey's THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE has been one of the most popular motivational books of all time. Now Stephen's son, Sean, has transformed this bestselling message into a life-changing book for young people and their parents. At a time when everything from planning what to wear to a party to dealing with an alcoholic friend can seem overwhelming and complex, THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE TEENAGERS will bring a special perspective and focus to the lives of young people everywhere. Sean Covey speaks directly to teenagers in a language they can really understand and relate to, addressing the issues that concern them most: relationships, parents, peers, life choices, concerns for the future, and even larger questions about life, death, and the human condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Covey Senior's Book!, 18 Jun 2007

I find Sean's approach to explaining the 7 Habits a lot easier to understand than his father's. It's a great read for both teenagers and adults.

If you liked Stephen Covey's book, you'll love this. Alternatively if you found Stephen's book a bit too intellectual to digest, this one will make it all sound easier.

For those of you not familiar with the 7 Habits philosophy buy this book and use it! This is a good place to start.

5.0 out of 5 stars The teenage bible!, 22 April 2009

What can I say; the title says it all. I first borrowed this book from a library and after loaning it out for eight months straight, I knew it had achieved the privilege to get top spot on my bookshelf. Not only is this book informative but it is also entertaining through the use of picture, quotations and joke art forms. I would recommend this book to anyone no matter their age due to the paramount guidance that it offers to those seeking to better their life. Quite simply, it's the best non-fiction book I have ever read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Plausible but basic, 2 May 2008

This is a book that just repeats what we already know.
I don't see how this book can benefit anyone older than 14.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this book, but it does make good reading.
However the exercises in the book are invovling and it is not lecturous, but it has a more friendly open dialogue.
If you're a young teen stressing about life, I would recommend it to you!
