The Tarot of Jane Austen is a lovely deck produced by Lo Scarabeo. It contains the standard 78 cards - 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor, the latter being broken up into Quills, Candlesticks, Teacups, and Coins - and generally follows the Rider-Waite model. I like when decks are full of people. The images do contain some animals, but the focus belongs to Austen's characters. I was pleasantly surprised to see that The Fool is female. Here, she is lovely and innocent with her path stretched out before her and dog at her feet. The Hanged Man is also female, which is unusual. I would recomment buying this deck before it goes out of print. I'm glad that I did!
