A rather disappointing book, unfortunately there wasn't a mention of its target audience, but one can presume it is aimed at kids aged 4-9 due to the very simple language and large bold print.

It is also gramatically dodgy in parts for example there is the caption under one photograph:
"Persians have double coats like exotics do" Hmmm.

You get the feeling that the book has been rushed and the proof-reading process has been overlooked.

The plus points are that it has a few nice colour pictures but nothing too ground-breaking.

If you're looking for a sublime book with fascinating facts and insights and in-depth features into Exotic cats, then it would be wise to look elsewhere.

This book states that it is fine to leave a cat indoors and it isn't safe to let your cat roam outside whereas institutions such as the RSPCA in their books state that it is cruel to leave a cat indoors all the time and they should be allowed out. It would be nice for this to be cleared up but that debate is best saved for elsewhere.

At the back, there is a list of other books in the same series about other cat breeds, if this book is anything to go by I'm steering clear.
