my best friend commited suicide & the hurt it caused was inmense. I blamed myself for not realising she had problems, for not being able to save her. While I was feeling lost without her as though apart of me was missing I was also haunted by feelings of guilt. My teacher at school got the book for me to read and once i had read it i was able to move past the guilt and blame & try to carry on with my life. The book describes how it isn't uncommon for relatives & friends to feel guilty & that it is possible not to live with guilt. This book is a must read if suicide has effected your life in any way. I could relate to this book and i knew where it was coming from, without it i would still be laden with guilt and blame. You must read it you owe it to yourself.
