Excellent title but the American origins of this book don't travel very well.

The first third of the book may well bee applicable to the US college volleyball scene - marketing your programme,living up to your responsibilites as a coach but in the European context are just padding.

Any book with a variety of contributors will suffer a variation in quality but while some chapters are really first class many look as though they are just a chance for another " college name" to be included. The editing is a little lax on ensuring that the same basic and "inspirational" points are not made very repetitively by successive contributors.

Yes there are some gems in the book but overall it is a disappointing addition to the volleyball library.
