No doubting the knowledge and experience of the authors this is a good book with some good ideas about getting your team defending well as individuals and as a unit.
Some of the drills seem over eloborate though, too complicated rather than focusing on basics that relate to the game. Some stuff seems difficult to relate to a game situation and after all if it does not relate to a game situation then ultimately it will leave players confused.
However it did give me some good ideas for warm ups and progressions that could lead into some functional practices or phases of play.
Important to understand which players could benefit from this book, not youngsters, only 14 and upwards will benefit from the practices.
