If you want to study to be MCSA or MCSE certified, who better to learn from than the people who wrote the course and accompanying software themselves? Probably the most in-depth training kit available, comes with an evaluation copy of Windows 2000 Server so that people who don't have access to this software can still complete the exercises contained in the kit.
Divided into two parts, the first half is the actual training kit and the second half is devoted to getting you ready for the exam and is crammed full of questions, exercises and overviews.
It worked for me, it can work for you, too!

Its hard to be objective about this book as (I guess like most people taking MCSA exams) I'd already taken the 70-215 (Server) and 70-210 (Professional) exams before starting this one. Also it seems to be the general view that 70-218 is the easiest MCSA exam, so preparing for it should be less difficult.

The book is divided into two parts, apparently combining what is normally published in separate study guide and readiness review books. I see there is also readiness review published for this exam - I can't tell if this is the same text as Part 2, but if anyone is thinking of buying both I'd check this out first.

The strange thing is that Part 2 doesn't seem to be testing the content covered in Part 1 - and the content in Part 1 is to a great extent identical to content in the equivalent books for other MCSA exams. But it was the only book I used for the exam, and I did pass - so it must be good.
