This book is basicly a poorly written adaptation of the Official Exchange2000 SDK help file. If you like books that give you a very basic overview and poorly written code samples that only scratch the topic, this book is for you.

Solution Developers - don't bother with this book. Exchange 2000 SDK has more information, has better code samples and is up to date.

I hope Wrox is publishing a proper Professional Exchange 2000 Development book - as this Microsoft Press Book does not cut it even close.

OK, so it's the only book on the subject at the moment, but you couldn't wish for a more complete reference. The book is divided up into a several sections each one builds on the previous; from bare basics through to a full fledged "WebStore" application.

Having recently researched a presentation on "Building Applications with Exchange" for the BackOffice User Group and the Microsoft Messaging International User Group, there is a mountain of information to get to grips with on the Web Storage System. Consider this book the cable car to the summit.

An essential volume in any Exchange Developers library. If Outlook is your primary client, also see: Building Applications with Outlook 2000 (R. Byrne)
