This book is wonderful. It makes you laugh and cry. Wolfe is the perfet man for Jesse. Elizabeth Lowell makes the reader believe that they are part of the story. One you've read this book, you must read all of them.

I like lowell, but this was the first book of hers I read and no other has come even close. The heroine is endearing and easy to identify with and feel for. The hero is very appealing and his misunderstandings of the heroine are easy to understand. it's one of the few where you really don't see how there will be a happy ending.

What can I say? This is my second Lowell experience and she certainly knows how to roll on the cliches. Predictable and embarassingly cheesey, you may be forgiven for believing that it has all been done before - but better. However, nobody, and I mean nobody writes longer or hotter sex than Ms Lowell. Behind the deceptively innocent cover of a single white dove, you find hot hot action. So whether you like this depends on what you are looking for. If you want an original story, convincing characters suprising plot - look elsewhere, but if you want a sweet story, a couple of twists and turns so that at least you've the general impression that its a 'proper book' and then see the main characters hop between the sheets for some raunchy hubba hubba then this definately the book for you. I liked it, but then hubba hubba is my favorite past time.
