4.0 out of 5 stars Another Charlie Muffin book - at last!, 13 Oct 2003
By A Customer
This features Freemantle's tricky British agent Charlie Muffin, still based in Moscow in the late 1990s as a British liaison to help fight organised crime. Once again Charlie is being made a scapegoat by his own side in an attempt to keep an old cover-up covered up. As usual he is devious. This is a tricky book, full of twists and turns but always with a dry sense of humour. Another great read from Brian Freemantle, long may he continue.
