3.0 out of 5 stars Confusion!!!!, 19 Jun 2003
By Rebecca Ross (Midlands, England) - See all my reviews
After reading the first three Moura books, I have to admit I am befuddled by this final entry!!! Good as the story is, it had me addicted through the final chapters, it is as though it was written by a different person who didn't even read the other books!!! Apart from the character's name being the same it bears no resemblence to the series. Without giving away too much of the plot, the dates do not match up,not only to the other books, but within the same story I found discrepencies, there is no mention of the main characters past life, including her two past loves and the whole story seems to be written in a different style to the others. If you ignore the first three books, the story is very exciting and I couldn't put it down, but I was disappointed with these discrepencies and it tarnished the end of what started out a very good series of books. The author should have given the main character a different name and of course NOT called it Return to Moura, as in fact Moura is never mentioned throughout the whole book. In fact in this story Anne doesn't seem to have any connections in France at all, despite having lived and worked there in the first three!!!!
