5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT!! Well worth reading., 21 Mar 2002
By A Customer
This is another of the first romance novels I ever read. It was about 9 or 10 years ago when I first read this book and every year it gets read at least once!

Ms Brandewyne's ability to create real and believable characters is first rate! Although sometimes the hero is not the kind of man you would like today, once you know a little of the history of the time you realise how true to life the characters are. The chemistry between the hero and heroine just leaps off the page!!

Definitely worth reading if you love historical romance novels. (It only took me two days!!)
