This book is so easy to read and also very amusing in places. It only took me 4 days to read it. It was unputdownable. For the first time in years I understood why I had gained so much weight and on reading the book found that I was normal and not a freak! The book frees you from so much guilt and from the shackles of dieting. Dieting is a "dirty Word" to Debra Waterhouse. It explains why you need to put on weight and how to lose the excess and eat everything you want to eat - even cholcolate. Everything in moderation! It also tells you why and how to exercise. To conclude, this book is an extremely good read, very easy to understand and best of all it makes you feel GOOD about yourself. I am going to order copies of this book for all my "Menopausal" friends for Christmas. It is a must!

It's always wonderful to discover some scientific backing for what you always thought was right and this book is it.
It's full of good common sense advice and it's presented clearly and with humour.
I recommend it to any women between 35 and 55.
