5.0 out of 5 stars A Classic on how to react positively to Multiple Sclerosis, 19 Aug 2000
By A Customer
Most of the reading material on MS expect things to get worse. This book has a very positive attitude to minimizing its effect. It covers many many subjects including diet, research, various treatments. If you would like to be encouraged, read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly motivating & empowering, 8 Feb 2002
This is very helpful book for anyone with multiple sclerosis. I found her advice very helpful, and although I did not agree with everything in the book it gave me the ability to help myself and be an active participant in my treatment rather than a subject. I have had MS for 8 years now, and I am doing okay (I have fun, argue with my husband, go on vacation just like normal people :)). Sorry about your diagnosis, but it is not the end off the world. Really it is not.

5.0 out of 5 stars A down to earth book of facts and hope, 11 Jun 2003
I have read a number of books since I was diagnosed with MS last year and I have seen a pattern developing with each one - diet seems to be the key to helping yourself. Judith Graham's book has been the most logically laid out, factually accurate and her opinions are undeniably convincing. This book more than any other is practical and useful either reading it from cover to cover, or using it as a reference book for specific points. I am sure that my health will improve now that I am following her suggestions - all hail evening primrose oil!
