I have recently bought this dictionary. My expecation was that it was found in both hard and soft copies. Beware! It is just a soft copy. I think the price is too high for this soft copy compared to what it provides to the customer. I cannot use it offline! Every time I want to use it, I have to be connected to the internet (unlike other soft copy dictionaries I have come across)! - a huge inconvenience. It is just like using other dictionaries that are found on the internent. The difference is that with Dorland you pay while with the other dictionaries, it is free-of-charge. Worse still, I could not install the speller because it is not compatible with the relatively new MS Word/office versions - compatible with only "archaic" MS Word/office versions. I am disappointed... I am stupid - I thought the high price would match my expectations. I was wrong...

Fast and easy to use if you are not sure how to spell a complex term. Pictures are there to access if you need them. The ability to hear the proper way to pronounce the tongue-twisting medical terms is great.
