2.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't recommend..., 11 Jul 2009

I'm not keen on this book at all. The wording and illustrations don't seem to go together. For example, on one page the illustrations will show a scene that will then match the text on the next page.

I have found all of these ladybird books frustrating to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 2-year old son's favorite book, 10 Aug 2009
He just loves the "trip-trop" over the bridge and guffaws at the troll jumping out "who's that trip-tropping accross my bridge".
Definitly his favorite book, he can't get enough of it (and the voices).

5.0 out of 5 stars A Lovely Book, 24 Jan 2000
By A Customer
I chose this book because I read it when I was three. My favourite part of the book , was where the big billy goats Gruff went over the bridge to the beautiful meadow. It make me feel like I was the youngest, billy goat Gruff.
