5.0 out of 5 stars Very Interesting; Moves Quickly, 4 Sep 1999
By A Customer
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book, but I couldn't put it down. I liked the descriptions of China. It was up to date with China taking over Hong Kong. It was very interesting. I would like to read more of his books now.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good story, some nice touches but not his best., 3 Sep 1999
By A Customer
Definately a good read but sometimes the slang terms detracted from the story. I thought the characters could have been a little more realistic, especially in terms of dialect. Ever heard of trying TOO hard? Pretty fast paced, exciting but somewhat confusing story line, interesting plot. Not as good as some other of this author's books.

5.0 out of 5 stars CAN YOU SAY GREAT!!!!, 31 Aug 1999
By A Customer
This author writes like they all should: great attention to a creative plot, give us all the backgroud about the characters to let us know who they are and why they do what they do, and never let up on the action and the timing. Correct usage of slang and gun technology is not important at all--that is why we readers have imaginations and suspension of disbelief (this was not a dictionary or a training manual). This was truely the best book I have read in a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good story/plot, nice action, but...
Stevester, you need to do a little research, or at least have your editor do some... I'm a gun nut, and you had some stuff in this one that either didn't exist, or didn't make... Read more
