Product Description

Synopsis
Jung's work bridges the gap between the spiritual and the scientific worlds. With this book, Dr. Robertson gives the reader a roadmap to the structure and dynamics of the collective unconcious. Once we start the processs of individuation, there is no turning back - from the Self we learn that the wholeness we seek is our essential nature. In the relationship between the conscious and unconscious, something new and truly creative emerges, and life becomes an adventure. This basic book about Jung will bring more people into the experience of his work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unlocks complex theories, easily understood, 5 Feb 2001
By A Customer
This book is wonderful. It leads the reader (who needs no background in Jung or Psychology) through Jung's revelations in a logical and (just as importantly as theories evolved from one and other) chronological way. It shows how Jung's split with Freud led to the notion of personality types so taken for granted today (Extavert, Introvert, Thinking, Feeling). The concepts of Psyche, Self, Shadow, Anima and Animus, all flow logically and in a very accessible way. Recommended.
