Product Description
The treaties include: The Accession Treaty; The Treaty on European Union - incorporating the amended EC, ECSC, and EAEC Treaties - with protocols and declarations; those sections of The Single European Act not amending the founding Treaties; and The European Economic Area Agreement. Acts amending the Constitution required by membership and the main European Communities Acts are included in full. Secondary legislation is guided largely by the syllabus of the Incorporated Law Society. Areas covered include: Competition, Labour, Health and Safety, Equality, Four Freedoms, European Parliament, Court of Justice/Court of First Instance, and enlargement and changes resulting from the TEU. A distinctive feature of this book is the inclusion of the Irish implementing measure reference (the IRL symbol after the text) and the main amendments. This, combined with the table showing the comparison between the EEC and the EC Treaty Articles, will enhance the accessibility of this material for a broad range of readers.
