5.0 out of 5 stars Complex aspects explained in depth, and easy to read, 15 Jun 2000
By A Customer
As a psychology degree student, I have found this book invaluable. Covers all the main aspects of Abnormal Psychology in a very readable and accesible way. Comer reviews topics from anxiety disorders to schizophrenia, allowing the reader to gain a good understanding of complex ideas. Each topic is approached from all the main schools of psychology, including behavioural, cognitive and psychodynamic. A must for any student studying Abnormal Psychology, and for those who are not studying psychology but wish to read about it, this is definitely an interesting place to start...you don't have to be an expert to understand. Nicely illustrated, with relevant sub sections.
