Product Description

Product Description

'Football Skills' is a unique route to improve a youngster's game, with great ways for an adult to help. Based on logic, this book is a planned sequence of one-to-one ball practices with vital facts and advice. Later practices teach reflex actions, attacking, circling, turn movements, quick control and loads more.

From the Author

A fantastic guide for anyone looking to improve their game!
Between the ages of 24 to 38 I played well over 500 games - and won lots of trophies. I taught my son Raymond from the age of 7, who in 1980 signed as a professional footballer for Luton Town FC. In the last 30 years I have studied youngsters of all ages and ability, and more recently the local 10, 11 and 12-year old teams, which included my grandson.

At first, my grandson sadly lacked skill in many areas. This prompted me to teach him twice a week. Within a few months he moved up from the B team to the A team and then achieved 'Most Improved Player'. My daughter had previously paid for group coaching lessons and was amazed that Ryan could improve so much from one-to-one teaching. I soon became keen to help others.

There are lots of players out there who could really improve and - who knows - make it to the top. I wrote 'Football Skills' for anyone who wants to improve their game or be a personal coach. My book is easy to follow but will keep you on your toes and on the right path. It explains the essential skills, allows you to practise them, and shows you how to get the most out of them in a game. So get it right from the start - get 'Football Skills'- the sooner the better!

Superb. As a dad who wanted to improve his son's footballing abilities this very simply, easy to read book proved ideal. Full of good advice and picture demonstrations I would totally recommend it.

Probably aimed at helping 4-7 age range it concentrates on the child's all round game from shooting, passing to heading.

An ideal first purchase for Dad's (and Mum's) enjoy spending an hour or so at the local park with their budding superstar's.

5.0 out of 5 stars FOOTBALL MAGIC!!!, 30 Sep 2008
This book is a must read for both parents and players attempting to improve on your teaching and learning ability.

The book goes through a STEP BY STEP guide on how to improve ball skills and teaches any youngster or oldie the correct way to improve and enhance your chances of playing in a high standard.

IT REALLY WORKS!!!

A Kid's Review
Football Skills an unessential book all it tells you is how to play football I absolutely hated it and I only read 1 page. What you need to play football. You only read this book if you like football. Every football fan knows how to play football and what you need to play football.

Only read this book if you like football.

I recommend this book for no one .
