I purchased this book out of curiosity more than anything. I had never thought about making my own greetings cards at all. Then a neighbour had a baby and I stitched a card for her. She was thrilled! I hadn't realised that a stitched card would mean so much to somebody. This book is ideal if you are strapped for cash and want to let someone you love know that you are thinking about them enough to put personal time into a lovely design for them. The instructions are clear for first time stitchers; and the designs are beautifully simple and bright. The range covers designs for birth congratulations; weddings; anniversaries; exam congratulations and many more. Combined with clear card sizes needed for each design, this book truly is a treasure trove of personal touches.
