Reputable branded feeds are usually well-balanced, but are often expensive. This book shows what feedstuffs are available, and how to make the best and most economic use of them, while paying attention to timing, presentation and palatability. The facts about feeding horses and ponies are here presented clearly, with a final "problem" section containing real-life case studies showing the dangers of incorrect feeding. The book also includes a bibliography for further reading.
