About the Author

Michael Gienger is a practising crystal healer. After studying chemistry and mineralogy at Stuttgart, he spent five years at the Academy of Druids in Austria learning the art of Shiatsu and shamanistic healing. He co-founded a crystal healing group in Stuttgart (1988), and the Cairn Elen School of Crystal Healing near Tubinget (1997). In demand as a lecturer and instructor, he is also an acclaimed writer on the subject.

Crystal Power, Crystal Healing is the most informed book on Crystals I have found. I use Crystals on a daily basis both for personal use and recomendations to customers in my shop. I use the book for quick informed reference. Obviously I need to know the power behind the crystal when i use them for healing but this book defines the healing power between physical, emotional mental and spiritual making easy to access the information required without spending ages browsing through irrelevent material. I not only recommend this book but I stock it in my shop too.

Originally published in Germany and now translated into English this is a mine of information about crystals and their use in healing. There is a detailed scientific explanation about the structure of various crystals. This assumes some scientific knowledge. Following this are well illustrated descriptions of all the major crystals used in healing. Information given is very comprehensive and there is an excellent index. Colour illustration throughout, unlike some books on this subject.The book looks lovely,excellent paper quality. The author is a very experienced healer and this shows in the way he writes. He invites correspondence and exchange of ideas from all readers. This is not a beginner's book - definitely for the more experienced.I refer to it constantly. Enjoy!!

Anyone with the slightest interest in crystals or crystal healing would be delighted with this book. It provides a comprehensive background on the origins of crystals without the scientific waffle. It explains how each crystal is formed, how it was used in antiquity and how it can be used today. There are over 70 fantastic colour photographs which make it easy to identify any crystals you may already have.
