5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely wonderful, 24 Jan 2001

This book is fantastic. I run a dog rescue organisation and I am seriously considering supplying every new owner with a copy of this book. It is impossible to have a god relationship with a dog unless you can speak the same language as a dog and to do that - you need this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!!, 16 Sep 1999
By A Customer
This is a wonderful guide to how to understand your dog - I wish I'd had it from the beginning of being a dog-owner, rather than using it now to undo my earlier (well-meaning) traditionally based training methods. Forget the Woodhouse Way - John Fisher rules (and my dog agrees).

5.0 out of 5 stars What an amazing way to look at your dog., 10 Feb 1999
By A Customer
This is a wonderful book and I personally now hold two copies, just in case I lend it out and I don't get my copy back. And I fully intend to lend and recommend this to other dog owners. If we'd read this book before training our Shepherd we would have saved money and our lives, including our dog's would have be a lot less stressful. When you read the way John Fisher expresses how our instructions sound to the dog is you find yourself say "Oh yeah - I suppose it does mean that". A must buy!
