About the Author
Rod Heikell has spent more than 20 years cruising the coasts and islands of the Mediterranean. Having sailed his own as well as charter and delivery yachts across the Atlantic, all around the Caribbean and to South East Asia, it is to the Mediterranean that he always returns; these are the waters he loves. He is the acknowledged expert on Mediterranean sailing and his pilots are referred to by the cruising sailors who rely on them as 'the bible'.
