4.0 out of 5 stars it was very good, 6 Feb 2001
This book was extremely helpful for beginners, the diagrams of the notes are precise and well done. Also the author is very good and I recommend all his abracadabra books.so if you want to get started with the clarinet this is best book and I give it 8 out of 10

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT, 21 May 2009
My instructor recommended this book as I have just picked my clarinet back up after 35 years and still remembered a reasonable amount of it. It is very easy to read and use and the diagrams for the fingering is excellent and easy to understand.

Think this is a great book for a beginner and also for somebody like myself who needs a good refresher course.

Excellent book. It has little diagrams showing how place the fingers on the clarinet for each note. Contains lots of well known songs. Great for a beginner.
