5.0 out of 5 stars Sixteen steps & a couple of hundred pages to success, 23 Feb 2001
By A Customer
Evan Marshall's book is exactly what I was looking for. If, like me, you have a series of half-formed story ideas floating around your consciousness then the rigid structure suggested by this book will help to coalesce them into a novel. Obviously there are no guarantees of commercial success but following this plan should at least lead to the holy grail of any aspiring novelist: a finished book.

5.0 out of 5 stars got me published, 6 Jun 2008
I had a finished first draft of a novel and was VERY STUCK until I found this book. I basically re-wrote the whole novel using the steps in this book ... and guess what ... my novel got published and won an award!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for the aspiring writer, 26 April 2009
By D. Boyle "DL Boyle" (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews

I have always wanted to write a novel when I bought this book I didn`t know what to expect and when I started to read it and got the story that was in my head out onto paper, as it`s a book that sparks your imagination to write a book. I have started writing a book recently and have finished my first chapter through the Novel Writing 16 Steps To Success I wouldn`t have dreamt that I would get a chapter finished from my first book I am writing. It`s become my bible into writing a novel. A book worth having if you intend on writing a book. A must for the aspiring writer like me.
