5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant text with superb detail given to coloured plates, 4 Jan 2002
This book is the rolls royce of all bird books, it covers finches from all parts of the world, each plate comes with an indepth discription and map as well as a discription of the birds habits. When I was a bird breeder this book was like a bible and I was able to supply the bird with the conditions that were most natural to there species.
