For a relatively small country, Switzerland offers a great selection of habits and bird species.
This book offers guidance to some of the most interesting areas although Western Switzerland seems to dominate the choose of the authors.
Timing is everything. Many visits to these sites have not always revealed the birds listed.It is always better to use in conjunction with local information - from websites such as http://www.birding.ch/ ; http://ebn.unige.ch/ebn/chobs.html and http://home.intergga.ch/bbc/
