4.0 out of 5 stars Practical, Clear Advice For New Writers, 26 Feb 2002
By A Customer
This is a very helpful text for aspiring writers. It covers the basics in a clear, pragmatic and entertaining way. Having previously given up on Andre Jute's "Writing A Thriller" in the same series (A & C Black), I approached this book with a certain caution. Fortunately though, Rona Randall's approach was completely different. Unlike Jute, Randall doesn't adopt a smug and preachy attitude to her audience. I'll certainly be keeping my copy to hand for ongoing reference.
