My copy of this book has had to sustain alot of wear and tear as I use it so much! It shows you how to apply stage make up PROPERLY, and it explains why it needs to be applied differently to ordinary make up. For example, I've been involved in amateur productions for the last 12 years, (in which the boys were dolled up in bright blue eyeshadow and red lipstick) and with the use of this book, I've managed to persuade the stubborn make up team of fussing middle aged women that the poor lads (with an age range of 4-16) don't need to look like miniature drag queens. This book is invaluable for anyone involved in stage productions amateur or professional.
