3.0 out of 5 stars Too much theory is bad for your creative health, 19 Feb 2001
By A Customer
I'd picked this up and leafed through it several times before I took the plunge and bought it. This is a very serious book and would suit anyone who is doing a textile course. Richard Box has an impressive breadth of knowledge on why and how shapes and colours work the way they do and here he sets out some excercises to prove his theories. But be warned - too much theorising is bad for the health of your creative muse. Make sure you give yourself a good dose of practical experience too!
