5.0 out of 5 stars A must book for beginners looking to improve their game., 18 May 1999
By A Customer
If you're a beginner looking to improve to intermediate standard, then reading this book is a must. It teaches you how to use major pieces and the basic endings using an ingenious system of questions and multiple choice answers. If you get it right, you progress, if not you get an explanation of why and another chance. A throughly worthwhile read with a permanent home on my book shelf.
